The National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2026 authorizes the Commander of USSOCOM to procure and distribute sports foods to SOCOM personnel using Major Force Program 11 (MFP-11) DoW funds. Sports foods are defined as food products that deliver essential energy in the form of calories and nutrients, labeled with a Nutrition Facts Panel.
